Description

The Maija silk button-up shirt has a slim, straight fit and the Unikko pattern. The shirt has a concealed button closure, a back yoke seam with pleats, and a curved hem with side slits. The cuffed sleeves have slits and button closures.


Our shirts are sewn using the whole width of the fabric, and therefore their appearance may vary slightly. Each item is unique.

The product contains 5% elastane which gives comfortability.

Marimekko’s famous pattern Unikko was born in 1964 in a time when the design house’s collections featured mostly abstract prints. Designer Maija Isola wanted to create something interesting from this organic theme and designed an entire range of floral prints. Today, the iconic flower represents creativity.
