Description

The Pilkkoa overshirt has a relaxed, straight fit, and it features the Basso pattern, which is printed in Helsinki. The overshirt has a pointed collar, a button closure, and one chest pocket. The sleeves have slits, pleats, and button closures at the cuffs. There is a yoke seam in the back.


This product is made of a cotton and linen blend, which contains 43% recycled cotton, 34% organic cotton, and 23% linen.

Our overshirts are cut using the whole width of the fabric, and therefore their appearance may vary. Each item is unique.

Stripes have always brought rhythm to Marimekko’s design language. Maija Isola’s 1973 Basso is a bold diagonal stripe pattern born to take center stage.

Fit: Relaxed (In dresses and tops, relaxed fit at chest level and at body overall. Shoulder line is dropped. In bottom pieces, relaxed fit on waist and hip, often elasticated waistline. Compared to slim fit, relaxed fit has more designed ease between body and garment).
